Climbing Tower: Four sided 40 foot tower with 2 climbing faces allowing a maximum of 4 climbers at a time. Also has a rappelling side. Pamper Pole: Two 25 foot telephone poles with pegs allow climbers to reach the top of the pole, stand on the top, and jump 6 or 9 feet out to a trapeze. If climber misses, they are lowered to the ground. If the trapeze is caught, climber hangs on then lets go and is lowered to the ground. Giant Breath-Taker Swing: Students harness up, get attatched to swing cables while sitting on platform edge, and when ready, student leans forward and moves off the platform experiencing a 10 foot free fall and a very high swing out over a valley. Zipline: Students have the choice to move through six different obstacles to make thier way to the upper platform. An instructor attatches student to zipline pulley system and student glides 400 feet to the end. Tree Ropes Course: Students move through six challenges 20 feet in the air--each one stationed between different trees. Student starts up a spider web, crosses the balance beam, traverses the hour glass, maneuvers through the rope ladder, stretches self on the loopty-loops, and jumps for the tarzan swing. Flying Squirrel: Eight students are "horses" attatched to one end of 2 ropes that go up to a pulley system. Another student is the squirrel and is attatched to the other end of the ropes. The horses and squirrel run in opposite directions thus causing the squirrel to "fly" off the ground. Cave: Each student wears a helmet, headlamp, and grubby clothes to crawl, kneel, climb and duck walk through the muddy Snow Hill Cave. The cave has several rooms which will fit 20-25 persons. Option: spend the night in the cave and cook pancakes and sausage for breakfast before touring the cave. Big Canoes: Voyager canoes that hold 15 adults and if everyone works well together, a water skier can be pulled up...for a little bit.... Regular canoes: Enjoy a peaceful time on the lake paddling and swimming. |
